Ashleigh Morris

Ashleigh Morris has had a passion for animals, especially dogs, all of her life, and always dreamed of a career with animals. She practiced her natural training abilities on her own dogs growing up and impressed the neighbors with her abilities. Later in life, further practice was gained volunteering at Caring For Creatures Animal Sanctuary allowing her to gain experience with a multitude of dog breeds and personality types.

Upon graduating from UVA, Ashleigh looked to the dog world for a career path. For years she has successfully run a thriving petsitting business called No Place Like Home Petsitting Services. Ashleigh is known by her clients as the "magic" petsitter who is able to give pills to even the most difficult of animals. She possesses the patience and calm physic needed to relate to timid dogs.

Ashleigh's natural ability with dogs led her to also pursue a career in dog training. Studying under Cheryl Falkenburry, an Animal Behavior Coach for over 20 years, Ashleigh learned new skills to help others in solving their behavior problems and train dogs and humans in the basic skills needed to enhance the human-animal bond. Cheryl continues to mentor Ashleigh as she grows and learns about the various aspects of dog training. Through books, videos, telecourses, seminars, and workshops, Ashleigh is constantly expanding her knowledge of dogs and their mind-boggling behavior.

Ashleigh is a member of the National Association of Professional Pet-sitters and The Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
